爐子壽命長。由于高溫作用、機械磨損和腐蝕等因素的綜合作用，爐子不可避免會有損壞，必須定期對爐子進行檢修，應盡可能延長爐之的使用壽命，降低費用。

勞動條件好。要求爐子的機械化及自動化程度高，操作條件好，安全衛(wèi)生，對環(huán)境無污染。

燃料氣的流動速度   燃料氣的流動速度與火焰的長短有密切關(guān)系，在外混式燃燒器中，燃料氣流速過大，會引起脫火；在半預混燃燒器中，燃料氣流速過小會引起回火。
